Skinny jeans – could these be worn by a guy?

my boyfriend has been looking for some dark blue skinny jeans for a while and i said i’d get him some for christmas and its hard to find some in his size in the colour he’s after.

now obviously me being a girl and having a brain thought i’d ask some mates for some advice they said to see if u can get some womens jeans in his size.

what im asking is would these look ok on a guy? I think they would and would go with his chesnutty uggs quite well.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-SEXY-LOW-RISE-SKINNY-FIT-JEANS-INDIGO-BLUE-BLACK-14_W0QQitemZ350119723384QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item350119723384&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1345%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318

I think they’re really nice, not too feminine and would show off his hot figure a treat.

what do you think.

no crass and rude answers and i’ll choose a top answer to.

thanks.

Tan leather knee high boots. Wear with dress or skirt?

I bought some tan leather buck knee high boots last year and wore them mainly with leggings and skinny jeans. However, I don’t think they will stay in fashion for very long so I’m hoping to get more wear out of them this year by wearing them with dress/skirt for work as well.

They look very similar to these Firetrap ones…

http://www.office.co.uk/womens/firetrap/amaretto3_knee_boot/17/7314/19726/1/

I think mine are less fitted on the top… they are a wided on the top as I think they were designed to be wore with jeans.

What do you think… wear with skirt/dress or stick with leggings/jeans

I have size 9 1/2 feet (womens) and I can't find any shoes? (UK)?

I’m 14 and I’ve had size 9 feet since I was 12, now I’m 9 1/2, and the whole time I’ve had trouble finding shoes -without having them custom made because they’d cost too much. Anyway I’m completely stuck now because all the size 9 shoes and up I find are either

-too narrow (wide feet too)
-have heels (I don’t wear heels because don’t fancy messing up my spine thank you very much)
-aren’t suitable
-just don’t fit/aren’t comfortable at all

and I’m pretty stuck. I’m really having trouble with school shoes as well because the girls rules for shoes are…
-black shoes (no other colour at all, not even white)
-no heels above 2 inches (wouldn’t wear heels anyway)
-no logos
-no trainers
…so I’ve been wearing the same pair of shoes for two years (in the bin now because it’s the holidays and they were falling apart) and I went back to the same company but they didn’t have anything and I checked the catalogue to see what would be coming in and there wasn’t anything there either.
I know people are telling me that bigger shoe sizes are coming in for women because bigger feet are becoming more common but I sort of need them now, pretty desperate. Literally, I only have three pairs of shoes in existence now, one pair are flip flops that are too small but it doesn’t really matter, another pair are dolly shoes I got for a wedding which don’t fit and I can’t wear them for over an hour or so before getting blisters and cramps, and the last pair are the only ones that actually fit me which are trainers but they’re pink and white (I’m not a pink person =/) and they’re wearing down slowly -the shop where I got these has closed down =/

So does anyone know any shops in the UK that sell big shoes for women? Or even mens’ shoes that are feminine? (I’m desperate.) Don’t say New Look because I check all the time, I got one pair of pumps that fit me but they wore doesn’t and had huge holes so I was basically walking in socks with pump camouflage =/ I know some people will probably see this as a stupid thing but I also need ones that are pretty ‘girly’ for some things because e.g. I have skinny jeans that don’t go with my trainers and only go with my dolly shoes, and I have a huge annual thing coming up where I’ll have to wear a dress with ankle leggings/skinny jeans (I’m that type of person haha) and my trainers wouldn’t go because it’s quite formal

…also please don’t say Brantano because their shoes really aren’t ‘my thing’ and they never fit right either :( or websites that you can’t return stuff to

…plus my maximum spending money on one pair of shoes is about £30 …more like £20 we’ve kinda not got enough to throw around because I’m pretty rough with stuff I wear so they don’t last long haha :)

Thanks in advance for the decent answers :) x
I’ve tried Evans but they didn’t fit, they were too bit in the wrong places because I have thin feet haha (I think I’m part duck…) so they were too big upwards if you could say that haha and I tried insoles but they didn’t work :(

Welcome to Mens-Designerjeans.co.uk

Welcome to my blog Mens Designer Jeans, I have created this blog to talk, discuss, inform, review designer jeans, I have my personal favorite designer brands but that would not be fair to just talk about those brands and jeans I like so I will be reviewing different brands and giving my opinion on the fit, style and colour oh and the brand itself. I will also tell you about the best places to shop and if I come across discount codes or money off vouchers I will post them on here too. So why designer jeans you ask? Well I have found in the past there is not too much information on Designer jeans and how certain brands fit for men so I thought I will start to build as much information on mens designer jeans as possible from my own personal experience from finding the ideal pair of jeans, to the cut, the quality and how long certain brands tend to last and how to look after them, Jeans are what most men wear  at weekends, apart from Shorts in the summer and I think most men own more than one pair of jeans! There is actually a huge amount of styles and cuts available sometimes it can become a little confusing when all you want to do is buy a pair of jeans that fit!!! I tend to wear a lot  of Armani jeans and Dolce and Gabbana jeans also PRPS and True Religion all of which fit me differently. I will be talking about the in fashions for the current seasons and do’s and do not’s of past fashion which always gives me a laugh looking back at what people actually thought was fashionable at the time and thought they looked really good, I must admit I was one of the first to try out a new trend and some old photos I see, I look absolutely ridiculous, what was I thinking  - I blamed it on being young. Anyway, I have a lot I want to cover on this blog and hope you will all give me your comments or even if there is something you would like to add, post, images, your opinions feel free to contact me, I want this blog to be filled full of great information for us men as well as having a laugh and enjoying what you read. Other brands I will be blogging about will be Diesel, DSquared, Evisu, G-Star, Hugo Boss plus many more

Thanks for reading my intro to this blog and hope you enjoy the rest.

I will also be adding pictures of some of the best pieces in my collection as well as showing you my latest acquisitions!

Feel free to email me pictures of any rare or unusual items that you have in your collections I will endevour to include them on the site.

Keep checking back for updates – I won’t be blogging every day but I will keep you all updated.

Stone Island Jeans AW10

I have been looking at the Stone Island jeans for AW10, in the past I used to purchase the Stone Island denims range as Stone Island have not continued this range or the Stone Island denims brand they have created Stone Island Jeans. These jeans I would say are just as popular as the SI Denims range, they have taken ideas, fabrics and some looks from the denims range and added the Stone Island twist all of this seasons range have a Stone Island detachable badge on the back pocket most of the range are made from Japanese denim, when you think of brands made by Japanese denim you think Evisu, Nudie, Diesel. For all of you that don’t know Japanese denim is the denim which is constructed in Japan which is of particularly high quality many Japanese mills incorporate techniques such as rope dyeing which keeps the core of the denim thread white producing a bolder shine, generally they use ring denim with tight weaves which means they are heavier jean.  Stone Island jeans have been made from 13oz of Japanese denim so you know when you purchase these jeans you will know they have been made with very high quality, care and precision.  Stone Island prices for autumn/winter 2010 jeans are from £110- £150 they offer regular fit, vintage wash and dark denim wash. I have just purchased the Regular fit jeans in washed denim (5315333i2) they are of regular fit made from broken twill stretched cotton, these are really smart and comfortable and have golden/yellow stitching around the seams and pockets – great buy for this season.

Stone Island have excelled in making these jeans and have been made of the highest quality fabric and I believe the price of these jeans match the superb quality. Some designer jeans you can purchase are odd fitting and on some occasion (I) generally have to size up but these jeans are true to size maybe even on the slightly larger size nothing a belt wont solve, as most of you will know true sizing is fairly rare when buying any Stone Island item!! I cannot recommend these jeans more and am looking at buying the vintage wash denim jeans next these are of a lighter blue denim and again are regular fit great for everyday wear with trainers and a casual top. So if you are looking to buy jeans this  season, I can personally recommend these jeans.

The New Price of "Premium Designer Jeans" is Below $200!

Denim products were on the roll for a very long time. The jeans prices were mounting high to the extent of non-affordability. However, for any product that becomes overpriced, there finally comes a market rectification. That's what happened to the designers woman jeans!

Before the recession, "premium" denim was one of the fastest growing groupings of the apparel business, and there seemed to be no limit to what customers would pay for the latest label, fit, finish, wash or whatever celebrities wore. $350 to $1000 was a normal price for the labels like Christian Audigier Jeans, Joe's Jeans or Rich & Skinny Jeans. Annual sales of all women's jeans were actually up 5 percent over last year to $8.2 billion through August.

Dresses, suits, and handbags were priced like cars, and consumers didn't blink. Nevertheless, with jeans, it just felt more obvious that some kind of game was being played; the basic elements, after all, had not changed substantially in decades: five pockets, cotton, some rivets!

Even the fashion experts and designers seemed to be a bit worried about the issue. "Charging $600 for jeans for no reason at all - those days are over," said You Nguyen, the senior vice president of women's merchandising and design for Levi Strauss & Company.

Scott Morrison, one of the founders of Paper Denim & Cloth and Earnest Sewn, said, "Five years ago, it was easy to start a jeans company. You basically have a market that is the fastest growing segment in the apparel business, and stores are overbuying because of it."

But the change was in the air! Mr. Rosso of Diesel also sensed it is time for a change. Last week, he met with his team of designers to give them a challenge, he said, to reinvent denim in a "younger way, a fresher way."

At last, the "Premium Jeans" bubble has blasted and blasted badly! The new price for every "Designer Jeans" is now rounding about $200 and below! Jeff Rudes, a founder of the J-Brand Jeans states a reasonable argument for the downfall "The floors at most of the major stores were so over-assorted that they almost looked like Loehmann's. They were just cramming jeans onto the racks."

So here are the new prices for women designer jeans!

This is an exclusive article about premium designer jeans by Elnora Augustan, the staff writer for Dress4Less.Com. Along with getting the latest trends and styles for its clients, Dress4Less.Com is dedicated to provide finest Designer Women Jeans of brands like Christian Audigier, Grace in LA, Antik Denim and Joe's Jeans to all the style loving women!

Reasons to Purchase Designer Jeans For Women Instead of Generic Brands

The jeans that you wear can really make a difference in terms of comfort and how well they accentuate your figure. While most designer brands certainly do not come cheap, there are many reasons why they are much more superior compared to generic brands. The following are benefits to purchasing designer jeans for women and why you will never go back to regular brands once you buy them.

Perhaps the one feature that separates designer jeans from regular ones is the way they fit as they are made to conform to the shape of your body. The material in which they are made is also much higher as you can certainly feel the difference once you try on a pair. This is beneficial for many reasons as finding a pair of jeans that feels comfortable and makes you look good is easier then you think.

Prior to purchasing designer brand jeans, it's a good idea that you try on as many different pairs as you can while asking a friend for advice. The size of the jeans is also important so be sure that you get the correct measurements as you probably do not want pants that are too loose or too tight. If you need help this, you can always go to your local department store and have them take measurements of your waist and legs.

One of the main reasons why designer brands are so much more expensive is simply because of the extra time and effort that goes into constructing the jeans. When you compare jeans from brand such as Seven For All Mankind to Old Navy, you can immediately notice the differences in quality and feel. The finest denim textiles are often responsible for the super soft feel and top notch stitching.

Another added benefit to getting designer jeans for women is that you can able to choose from a variety of styles available from different colors and washes. This means that finding the right pair that matches your style is a simple task as you add more variety to your wardrobe. With so many styles and colors available, finding the pair that suits you is simply a matter of trying different pairs.

Finally, jeans of cheaper brands are often times not very durable which can explain why they will lose their shape or start to fade after a few washes. Designer jeans are built with much sturdier material so you can bet that they will last much longer due to a securely woven fabric. Keep in mind that the jeans you wear can really make a statement so it is definitely worth it to spend a little extra on a quality pair.

Jeans that are designer brands definitely do not come cheap but you can easily find discount prices as long as you are willing to search around. Once you know what brand and type you want, simply do some shopping at online retail stores and even auction sites where you can compare prices. Not only can you easily find jeans that fit your budget, but you can also read reviews so you know exactly what to expect.

You Can Make a Fashion Statement With Designer Jeans

Comfortable designer jeans are no longer a thing of the past. There is nothing more a confidence building and rewarding than a great-fitting pair of jeans. There was a time when dungarees were considered to be too casual, jeans were only worn for doing work. But now when your designer jeans are paired with the right top and accessories, jeans will make a fashion statement for any event. Nothing boosts a woman's self-confidence like the knowledge that she is looking good. Now you don't have to sacrifice comfort to do that! Designer 7 for Mankind jeans will be an excellent place to start your own fashion statement, along with an attractive diamond tennis bracelet.

Making the fashion statement has just a little bit of criteria. Good quality jeans should be used and they need to fit well. The accompanying shirt and accessories should be carefully selected to compliment the look. The right kind of jeans can pull in the tummy, lift the rear and in general make you look taller and thinner. Jeans come in all styles to fit all shapes and sizes. Bell bottoms, boot-cut, skinny-legged, low-rise, high-waisted, ripped, distressed, sequined, embroidered-there is truly something for everyone. Designer jeans are available in all colors, although usually darker colors are more slimming. The versatility of this single piece of clothing makes it an absolute staple in every woman's closet. Today, designer jeans when given the proper care, also last so much longer due to quality material and stitching.

The jewelry you choose to accessorize your outfit can tell a lot about you. If your style tends to be more classic, then you might pair your jeans with a sweater or blazer and accessorize with some bangle bracelets. If you prefer an edgy rock and roll look, then maybe a printed tank or t-shirt with a leather jacket would work. Lots of flashy jewelry and a unique belt buckle could round out the look. If you're going for a sexy and seductive style, jeans look great with a lacy camisole or silky tunic. The jewelry that usually goes best with this style is slim and sleek. A bold handbag or some sunglasses go great with any style, as do a great pair of heels. You can even change your look throughout the day simply by changing your shoes and jewelry. Diamond tennis bracelets, diamond stud ear rings or a nice designer watch will put the finishing touch on your fashion statement. Just keep in mind that if your jewelry is really flamboyant, than go with clothes that are less so (and vice versa). Everything should complement each other without any one piece overwhelming the entire outfit.

Whether you are attending a school event for your child or going out for a night on the town with your girlfriends, designer 7 jeans, a nice top and a diamond bracelet can provide the perfect outfit for you. Mix it up, have fun and express your own personal style, your very own fashion statement through the clothes you wear!

Designer Jeans - Tips On How To Spot Fake Designer Jeans

Did you know that some manufacturers estimate that 50% of the designer jeans sold in malls, retail stores and online are fake? While we all love the look and feel of a pair of the hottest designer jeans, the thought of spending hundreds of dollars only to find out you just bought a fake is upsetting. The great news is that by following the tips in this article you can buy designer jeans anywhere with a since of confidence that you are getting the real deal. So next time you are shopping for designer jeans here are some things to look for:

Take a very close look at the fabric. Fake designer jeans by definition are cheaply made and the denim is often a coarse material that will feel stiffer and heavier than premium originals.

Pay close attention to the quality of the stitching. Premium designer jeans manufacturers take great pride in their workmanship and reject samples that do not adhere to their strict quality standards. Uneven stitching and loose threads are very good indicators that you are looking at fake designer jeans.

Virtually all designer jeans have some sort of signature stitching on the pockets that makes them unique. Go to the manufacturer's website and become very familiar this because sometimes the difference in fake designer jeans pocket stitching is difficult to spot. If you notice a difference, you can be almost certain you are looking at a fake.

Designer jeans labels will often be the easiest way to identify a fake. Fakes will usually have subtle differences in writing or label quality. Both paper and fabric tags are usually made of cheaper materials than their authentic counterparts. If you spot an exterior hangtag with different paper quality, font or twine attachment it is almost always a fake.

Inspect the buttons. On some designer jeans the buttons are pretty close to the original, however, some buttons are different sizes, have letters missing or in some cases the wrong buttons completely.

Now you have a number of ways that you can identify fake designer jeans. If you keep these tips in mind and spend a little time to get familiar with the specific characteristics of the brands you like most, you will quickly become an expert at spotting fakes. This will be very helpful to you because while there are a large number of fakes around, there are plenty of great bargains on originals around every corner.

Remember that when it comes to shopping for clothing, full retail is for suckers.

Designer Jeans - From Gold Rush Blue Jeans to Devine Denim

What would Levi Strauss think if he were around today to see the transformation of the blue jeans he supplied during the gold rush in California? Blue jeans have developed from the rugged pants gold miners wore into the denim designer suits of today.

It's hard to believe that pants created to be functional, rugged, and resistant to tearing with riveted pockets would be a high fashion item today.

Levi Strauss added rivets to his line of jeans when miners complained that their pockets kept ripping. A man named Jacob Davis thought of the idea of brass rivets for holding on the pockets. He was not a rich man, so was unable to patent his idea. He contacted Strauss and sold him the idea of the rivets. The rivets filled the bill when it came to long lasting pockets.

Did you know that's why your expensive designer jeans have rivets? Who knew? The jeans then became popular in western movies and during WWII; soldiers wore jeans when they were on leave. When the war was over, Levi jeans developed competition from companies like Wrangler and Lee.

During the 1960's, jeans became very popular with the college crowd and young people. They were no longer only for the working man, but for men and women alike. Jeans became a fashion symbol in the 1980's, being picked up by famous designers. Designers, such as Devine Denim developed many different styles of jeans, putting their own designer labels on them.

Not only are these designer jeans stylish, they also have different textures and designs like soft stretch suits, denim separates, denim trouser, jeans pants, jeans skirts and jeans sets for both men and women.

The top trends for jean styles today are endless. Some of these jeans include: denim suits, stretch denim, cropped leg, high back jeans, leather wash jeans, super long and skinny jeans, strait leg, boot cut, wide leg, low waist, hip hugger, relaxed, baggy, plus sized, petite, and pear shaped jeans, to name a few. Boy, what a mouthful!

Devine Denim designer suits are today's contemporary suit for those of us who love jeans. It is a soft stretch suit that is classy enough to wear at a professional function and comfortable enough to wear as casual attire.

These jean sets are the latest in chic, sleek Devine Denim soft stretch suits. You'll be happy to know that these designer jeans create a slimming look without the sagging effect of most cotton jeans.

The stretch denim provides the extra curves you want for a comfortable, sexy fit.

Levi Strauss could not foresee the improvements that would be made to enhance his basic pattern for jeans, not to mention that career women would be wearing them to work.

Well, Levi thanks for the patent on jeans. Who knows what the world would be wearing today, if you had not moved to San Francisco to sell jeans to the gold miners?

Tips For Finding a Designer Jeans Sale

Anyone who is looking for designer jeans should know that a typical pair of designer jeans can be worth at least a hundred dollars in a number of cases. Most designer jeans companies will not be very cheap when it comes to business. This is why it will help to take a look at finding a good designer jeans sale for one's jean needs. There are many things to do when it comes to taking a look at these jeans for sale.

A good tip to use is to first take a look at the official retail sources for a company that works with designer clothes. Many designer jeans companies will offer special sales on their products on occasion. This can be done as a means of getting them to clear out what they have in order to make room for new materials.

In most cases a designer jeans sale like this can be found through a retailer that offers the jeans that a company makes. In other cases it can come from a retailer's outlet store at an outlet mall. Sometimes a company's website will have information on these designer jeans for sale with some special discounts for buying them online.

Remember, it is much easier to find a designer clothes sale through the manufacturer of a brand of jeans than through someone else. Buying directly from the brand can work to ensure that costs that relate to other people selling certain items will be eliminated. This can prove to be helpful for anyone to see.

Another thing in a designer clothes sale is that it can be found through a warehouse website. A variety of overstock warehouse websites can work with a number of brands that are looking to unload surplus materials that they have. These companies will sell off large amounts of their materials at bulk discounts to warehouse websites. These websites will work in turn to offer these products to shopper at values that are substantially lower than that of what they would normally be dealing with at a traditional type of store.

It will help to watch for the sites that one checks out to see if they are safe though. Be sure to also watch for whether or not the designer jeans that these websites have to offer are legitimate pairs of designer clothes. Sometimes a website will sell knockoffs that may not be authentic.

It is best to use these places when looking for a good designer clothes sale. Using these considerations can make it so a person will have a much easier time with finding the best type of jeans for one's needs. This is a great thing to see when it comes to getting something that can fit just right for one's budget.

Any designer jeans sale and particularly if it is the men's jeans designer sale always attracts a lot of interest.

How to Safely Buy Designer Jeans on eBay

Buying designer jeans from a retail outlet like Nordstrom is a bulletproof way to ensure you get the real thing and not some knock-off pair. However, it also means you will likely have to pay full price. In the world of designer jeans, full price usually means anywhere from $140 to $300 or more!

Due to the high quality of designer denim from popular bands such as True Religion, these high-end jeans tend to last much longer than run of the mill department store brands. In fact, it's not uncommon for a pair of designer jeans to still look brand new after being worn for weeks, assuming of course they've been properly cared for.

Since upscale jeans hold their value so well, it's not uncommon for shoppers to look for pre-owned pairs of their favorite brands. Some high-end secondhand stores carry designer clothing and often sell jeans from brands such as 7 For All Mankind in great condition for as little as $40. But what do you do if no such secondhand stores are conveniently located by you?

eBay! Designer jeans are bought and sold in large quantities every day on eBay. The huge discounts created by private sellers as well as the convenience of shopping online make it a very popular shopping destination for men and women looking for a deal on a new pair of jeans. Although using eBay to buy jeans has tons of pros, it is not without its cons. There are a few things you need to look out for to ensure you have a satisfactory buying experience.

Feedback

This is the easiest way to determine whether or not any particular seller is trusted. Every time a transaction is made between a buyer and a seller on eBay, each party has the opportunity to leave feedback about the transaction on the other's feedback page. Both the quantity and quality of any given sellers feedback rating is important.

In some cases, you may find exactly what you're looking for, only to discover the seller is seemingly new to eBay due to little or no feedback. Most eBay transactions go off without a hitch, but ultimately it is up to your discretion to decide whether or not you want to bid on an item offered by a seller with limited feedback information.

Since counterfeit jeans are such a problem worldwide, if any seller regularly engages in the selling of fake jeans, you will likely discover this by reading the comments on their feedback profile. Alternatively, if the seller has hundreds of positive feedback entries, it's pretty safe to assume that dealing with that seller will be a pleasant experience.

Item Location

The majority of counterfeit designer jeans come from foreign countries, particularly from Asian countries. Although there are of course legitimate sellers with authentic jeans for sale from those countries, you should be extra cautious and diligent about inspecting the sellers feedback profile as well as any images of the jeans that are available.

The Price

eBay may have great deals, but beware of "too good to be true" deals. You may very well find a $200 pair of jeans that have been previously worn for only $60, but don't expect to find that same pair brand new for $25. Also, when dealing with sellers that have seemingly impossibly low prices, keep in mind that their feedback profile might not tell you the whole story. The reason for this is because in some cases, these sellers will have positive feedback from buyers who purchased their jeans already assuming that the jeans were fake (due to the rock bottom price). Since they were paying for and expecting fakes, naturally they end up satisfied with the transaction. Don't mistake these sellers for legitimate dealers of designer jeans.

Trust Your Instinct

When it comes down to it, your own intuition will often help you determine whether or not any particular seller on eBay should be trusted. If you're still on the fence, it's never a bad idea to message the seller with any concerns you may have. Many sellers will be happy to reassure you of the product's authenticity, and some will even take additional pictures for you. It never hurts to ask!

If you'd like to start shopping around for these types of bargains brought to you by eBay, check out Designer Jeans.

Tips for Teens: Buying Wholesale Designer Jeans to Fit Your Style

Designer jeans come in many different styles, colors and brands. Every person's body is made differently, so finding jeans with that perfect fit is a unique experience for every shopper. Shopping online for wholesale designer jeans can be tricky as well. Teens especially are concerned with style, fit and brand name. Here are some great tips to help teens find those perfect jeans.

Finding a Good Fit

Every body is shaped differently, so the fit of the jeans is important. Jeans must fit well on the waist, hips, crotch, thighs, and around the legs and ankles. There are several different types of fit: straight leg, boot cut, hipsters, carpenter, cargo, loose fit, low rise, flared and relaxed. Most teens choose jeans for the look, but it's important that the fit is right too. Comfort and the ability to be flexible while wearing the jeans should also be a deciding factor when buying designer jeans.

The great thing about shopping online for wholesale designer jeans is teens get to choose from many different fits to find the perfect pair of jeans. Many sites that offer wholesale designer jeans have a vast selection of styles, fits and brand names at great prices. Brands such as Seven Jeans, Antik Denim, Polo, Bape, Red Monkey, True Religion Jeans, Juicy Couture, Rock & Republic and BBC can usually be found online at wholesale prices. They offer the designer jean selection every teen dreams about!

Choosing Jean Color and Style

Another focus for today's jean fashions is style and color. No longer do jeans only come in one shape and color. They are available in many unique designs to fit every personality and preference. The colors and fabrics are washed in certain ways at the factory to give them a distinctive look and feel. Here are some of the jean styles and colors available today:

*Crosshatch: Denim weave has a cross-stitch type pattern.

*Vintage: An old, worn look.

*Polished: Denim without blasts or tints, in its pure form.

*Frayed: Has tattered edges along the leg bottoms, pockets, waistline, etc.

*Whiskered: Blasts that make "cat whiskers" appear around the front fly area.

*Distressed: Have released hems and look beat up.

*Ring-spun: Brings out a vertical pattern in the denim.

*Tinted: Blasts of color such as rose or khaki.

Online Shopping Tips

Having such a great selection of jeans online makes it easier to find both the right fit and style. Check with an online mall that sells wholesale designer jeans and do a search according to the brand you're looking for. Then browse through the selection of jeans to find the right size and style. If the measurements aren't available, do an online search for the measurements of that particular brand and size. You might be able to find measurements for almost any type of jeans online. Knowing the measurements, you can buy with confidence that the jeans will fit.

Also, be sure the company you are buying from offers a return or exchange policy in case the fit isn't right when you receive the jeans.

Knowing which brand names suit you will also make it easier to shop online. Designer jeans by companies like Polo, Antik Denim, Red Monkey, Bape, BBC, Rock & Republic, Juicy Couture, Lacoste, Seven Jeans, True Religion Jeans and others will usually be consistent in the way they fit if you stay with one particular brand. Finding wholesale designer jeans online not only saves money and time, but also opens the door to a broad selection of stylish jeans.

Designer Jeans - Women's Designer Jeans

Jeans have come a long way since they first started being worn, from the first pairs of non-riveted jeans whose back pockets would rip apart after a few weeks, to today's modern jeans offering a sleek, fashionable look and a quality material and stitching at the same time. However, jeans have long gone beyond the traditional "blue cowboy pants" type and now we can notice a trend to use denim (formerly used simply as a material for making trousers) in many other areas such as overalls, shorts, dresses, skirts, shirts, jackets or capris.

The jeans market is flooded with all sorts of models, from different kinds of brands ranging on an extremely wide array of prices. It's often quite difficult to choose what's best for you in regards to quality and fashion. Here are some of the types of jeans that circulate on today's market:

The "designer jeans" trend started in the late 70s, with the Nakash brothers (Ralph, Avi and Joe Nakash) launching their line of Jordache jeans. It was the first time in history that a jeans model would literally start a fashion trend following its release and the Jordache line represented the birth certificate for a future marketing formula. After witnessing the success of the Nakash brothers in 1978, many other designers tried to take up their trend-breaking formula and created models of their own, intended to shock and change the fashion of the time.

Designer jeans are mostly handstitched and they can sometimes have engravings or diamond insertions. The usual price for a pair of designer jeans can go from $100 to $500, depending on the quality of the material used and the designer brand. In some cases, jeans can go above this sum, especially if they have a lot of engravings and are riddled in precious rocks.

There are now many different designer jeans brands. Seven Jeans is probably the most well known designer jeans and they have many of the top styles. Also True Religion Jeans have become a very popular choice for jeans. There are hundreds of jean companies but most don't compare to the top designer jeans for fit and style.

Tips to Purchasing Men's Designer Jeans

For shoppers who are contemplating whether or not to buy men's designer jeans or off-brand jeans they should really consider all the benefits that come with choosing a designer label. For those who are new to shopping for mens designer jeans here is a look at all those benefits and why they are worth the money.

The first benefit of purchasing jeans made by a designer is the quality of the jeans. Other jeans that are not name brand are generally made out of cheap materials that are prone to shrinking or showing wear and tear more easily than designer jeans. While they may be inexpensive chances are they are not going to last one for a very long period of time.

The second benefit that comes of buying men's designer jeans involves the fit. The designers who make the jeans work hard to ensure that they fit the wearer correctly in all the right places. There is no extra sagging in places there should not be. They are made as though they were designed specifically for the person wearing them to ensure the wearer always looks their best and to accentuate their best features.

Another benefit of choosing men's jeans made by a designer is all the different choices. There is a variety of different colours, lengths and styles for men to choose from. From lighter denim to colored denims there is something to go in anyone's wardrobe. Designers also make special sizes for those who need them.

One benefit of getting that many overlook is their value. When one is done wearing them as long as the jeans are still in decent condition they will likely be able to turn around and re-sell them. Many used clothing boutiques and online auction sites will help one sell their gently used designer jeans for just a small fee.

One should consider purchasing some men's designer jeans as an investment. While they may be a bit more money than off-brand jeans they are not much more expensive and make up for it with their quality and fit. Since they have so many extra benefits it is not surprising more and more shoppers are opting for designer jeans that last them for a long time to come over cheaply made jeans just to save a small amount of money.
